The pendant is double-sided, on one side there is the Vegvisir symbol, and on the other side there is Aegishjalmur symbol.
The Vegvisir symbol is very old and sacred. Viking and Norse sailors used this symbol as it was believed to show the way back home and protect them from storms. This is why it is also said to be a Viking compass. It is also a spiritual compass that shows you the right path to choose or it will lead you back to yourself when you have lost yourself and your faith. So Vegvisir has very good thoughts for it's wearer, it will lead you to what is good for you and protects you when there is a need for protection.
Originally the symbol came from Iceland. Famous singer Björk has tattood the symbol on her arm.
